Promoting environmental responsibility means investing in our present to live a better future. Sustainability is at the core of our design and production processes. The materials used in the production of our swimwear are from a supplier which has implemented several innovative environmental policies aimed at creating a truly sustainable supply chain.
ECONYL® x ITTSWIM
We partnered with Aquafil the creators of ECONYL® regenerated nylon. We purchase a selection of high end recycled fabrics made of ECONYL®, yarn, a 100% regenerated nylon yarn derived from pre and post industrial waste such as discarded fishing nets, carpet fluff ( the top part of the Nylon carpets which have got to the end of their useful life), tulle, etc., all such materials, once they have reached the end go their useful life, instead of being disposed of in the landfills and oceans, are recovered, regenerated and used by us for the production of our swimwear and activewear collections.

For every 10,000 tons of ECONYL® raw material, 70,000 barrels of crude oil are saved and 65,100 kg of CO@ eq. emissions are avoided.
ECONYL® reduces the global warming impact of nylon by up to 90% compared with the material from oil.

THE REGENERATION PROCESS:
1-Rescue
The ECONYL® Regeneration System starts with rescuing waste, like fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet flooring and industrial plastic from all over the world. That waste is then sorted and cleaned to recover all of the nylon possible.
2-Regenerate
Through a radical regeneration and purification process, the nylon waste is recycled right back to its original purity. That means ECONYL® regenerated nylon is exactly the same as virgin nylon.

3-Remake
ECONYL® regenerated nylon is processed into textile yarns for the fashion and interior industries.
4-Reimagine
Finally, we use ECONYL® regenerated nylon to create our products. The beauty of ECONYL® that once all products that are no longer useful to customers can go back into step one of the Regeneration System.

All our packaging and labels are reusable and biodegradable. We ship our products in corn based plastic, it’s an alternative packaging that fully composts in 24 week. This zero-waste solution is designed to reduce the surplus of non-recyclable plastic consumed globally.
We've updated our packaging and labels to ensure the materials are renewable, reusable and biodegradable.
TTSWIM is partnering with WWF in the effort to influence the course of conservation. We believe that healthy oceans benefit the planet, people, prosperity and peace.
The oceans inspire and offer hope—for nature and people worldwide. Oceans are therefore worth protecting, restoring, and nurturing. By partnering and pledging 1% of our annual sales to help fund the WWF's plastic pollution campaigns. We believe in doing our part to help protect our oceans.
The problem of plastic in nature, particularly in our oceans, is a global crisis. Every minute, about a dump-truck load of plastic goes into the oceans, sullying beaches, hurting wildlife, and contaminating our food supply. We want to drive local action for global conservation. Promoting environmental responsibility means investing in our present to live a better future.
Eliminating all plastic from our lives is neither feasible nor desirable. Plastic has a lot of benefits, environmental and otherwise: It keeps our food fresh so we waste less; it’s sterile; it’s durable. And, once we’re done with it, it can be turned into something new. So how can we keep these benefits while keeping plastic out of nature?
As conscious creators we are here to make an impact and to create a collective of like-minded people who are all passionate about the ocean and want to strive to make a difference.
